Anna Sergeyevna Kournikova has been an Russian TV personality as well as a former professional tennis athlete. Her popularity and appearance has made her one the top tennis celebrities around the world. Anna Kournikova was an ex tennis pro of Russia that was, at one point of time the biggest female star in tennis. Kournikova was a singles player with only modest success, but her doubles team was incredibly productive. Because of her modeling career and her appearance, she was an international star. Anna Sergeyevna Kournikova is a Russian SFSR Soviet Union born in Moscow 7th June, 1981. She was a very active Russian professional tennis athlete. Her tennis debut came at the age of 14 when she won the Fed Cup as the youngest Russian tennis player. The player made it to the U.S Open when she was only 15 year old and when she was 16 reached into the semifinals of Wimbledon. Unfortunately she had to retire from tennis professionally at age 21 due to to serious back issues.
